Parks & Recreation Community Outreach

The Parks & Recreation Department is a division of the Town of Mooresville.  We believe affordable opportunities to enhance a person's health and well-being should be available to all of our citizens.

The Community Outreach division exists to allow citizens the opportunity to contribute to the Mooresville community by engaging in park beautification and enhancements.

The Parks & Recreation Department provides affordable opportunities for all ages.  We exist to help folks fill their leisure time with affordable and healthy Following are some of our key responsibilities:

• Maintain multiple outdoor parks within our park system to ensure they look nice, are safe, and satisfy public need.  This happens as a combination of staff-led initiatives as well as those led by volunteers.
• Maintain multiple indoor recreation centers to ensure they look nice, are safe, provide necessary programs and satisfy public need.
• Provide organized youth and adult athletic league opportunities.
• Plan and implement various programs for all segments of the population.
