The Town of Mooresville Environmental Protection Committee is looking for volunteers to assist in planting trees at Mazeppa Park on January 27th. This planting event is in partnership with the Tarheel Trailbazers Mountain Bike Association and the Town of Mooresville Parks and Recreation department who utilize and maintain these natural areas along the trails. The group will be meeting at 9am at the Concession Stand on the Soccer Side of Mazeppa Park and planting will occur along the Mountain Bike trailhead.

The Environmental Protection Committee (EPC) works to encourage and support the protection of natural resources by promoting well-planned development to enhance the quality of life in our community. The EPC supports Town efforts to promote the urban canopy, clean water, and community outreach and engagement in our local environment.
