Teens that are 16-18 years of age may respond to this opportunity to complete in-person volunteering at the library. The opportunities will vary and may be helping with programming, assisting with library page duties, grounds clean-up, etc. In order to volunteer and be contacted by the library, you will need to respond to this opportunity. We do not receive any notifications if you just sign up for an account, we only receive them if you respond to this opportunity. This position requires a commitment of a minimum of 15 hours. If you are in need of less than 15 community service hours, please contact the teen librarian, Megan Mosher directly at mmosher@mooresvillenc.gov or by phone at 704-799-4161.
Please note that there is a limit to how many in-person teen volunteers that we may have at one time. If there is not a position available, you will be put on a waitlist. Please note that you may or may not be contacted when added to the waitlist, it may take some time for other positions to open up.
Also, If you are a teen or a parent of a teen that is between the ages 13-15, you will need to contact Megan Mosher at mmosher@mooresvillenc.gov for volunteer information. Please do not respond to this opportunity if you are 13-15 or 19+. Thank you.
