 We are a nationally accredited police department through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), we are committed to providing the citizens of Mooresville with the highest level of police service by meeting nationally set standards of police excellence through model policies, procedures and practices.

Our department’s community policing philosophy, Mooresville Police And Community Together (MPACT), is deeply rooted in each officer. It is that philosophy which has been instrumental in building, maintaining and renewing community partnerships. These partnerships have allowed us to build collaborative relationships to effectively reduce crime and crime-related activity throughout our neighborhoods and business districts. It has allowed our citizens to feel safe and secure where they live, work, and play in Mooresville.
