Who We Are
Mooresville Public Library is “your place to connect, discover and grow” for the community and the employees. The Town of Mooresville and greater region continues to experience rapidly high growth with a diverse population of retirees as well as young families seeking an excellent quality of life provided by the Town and the surrounding areas. Currently the Library has approximately 61,442 registered library card holders. Mooresville Public Library is a municipal library which also serves Southern Iredell County. The Library recently completed a needs assessment, created a new strategic plan and is in process of seeking new service opportunities for this growing community. In 2018, the Library had a door count of 192,684 visitors, increased both physical and digital circulation numbers and implemented new technologies for patrons to access materials and services.
